Meet Alyson.

Alyson (she/her) grew up in Central PA and earned her B.A. in Political Science from Elizabethtown College, minoring in Peace and Conflict Resolution. In 2008 she relocated to Washington, DC and supported policy analyst and strategy contracts with the Department of Defense. Her projects collaborated across several agencies and components, to include the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Department of Justice and the Joint IED Defeat Organization. She transitioned from consulting work into becoming a full-time small business owner and opened a yoga studio on Capitol Hill. During the COVID pandemic of 2020, she returned to government contracting with the Department of the Navy where she focused on data privacy compliance.

Now Alyson has integrated her professional expertise to apply both strategy and agility to her consulting firm. She streamlines processes to help clients reduce effort and increase ease within daily operations.

Alyson has partnered with government contractors, sole proprietors, nonprofits and small business owners of all kinds to find the natural flow and balance of their organization.

In addition to strategy consulting, Alyson owns and operates a wellness business called Realignment Studio. She travels around the country hosting special events and retreats for students who are tired of being burnt out and are ready to find balance.
